Shaun F. Barrett
1944-2016

After graduation from Wiesbaden High School in 1963 and Norwich University in Vermont, in 1967, Shaun entered the Army, where he spent the next twenty years, retiring as a major in 1987.

An aerial photography/radar imagery specialist, he served in Hawaii, Viet Nam, numerous places in the states, and Germany.

He retired from the service at Key West and remained there for almost two more decades as a Department of the Army civilian engaged in drug interdiction matters. Upon retirement from the Army a second time, he and his wife moved to Jacksonville, FL.

While he loved all sports, he was particularly avid about golf. He is survived by his wife Sylvia, son Richard (Chantal) of Los Angeles, and daughter Kristin of Jacksonville, and two brothers, Brigadier General Michael Barrett (Army, ret.) of Charleston, SC, WHS 1964, and Steven Barrett of Hadley, MA.
